Binance account KYC verification includes ID, identity, and address verification after a user opens an account. Binance verification is relatively easy. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to complete the submission of KYC verification documents. Binane then has ten days to check the user documents, and then the Verification is complete. From August 20, 2021, Binance account identity verification is required. The following article shows you how to verify your Binance account and fix the failed address verification error.
Why verify the Binance account?

After completing the Verification, the user cannot change the withdrawing bank account. The data must match the verified account information if adding a new withdrawal method.

Binance Verification Process
Binance account verification is now mandatory for users. Depending on the level of Binane requires users to provide different personal information. There are three different levels of Binance account verification including:
Basic Verification only requires users to have information about their identity card number, full name, and date of birth. Completing address verification allows users to link a bank account, and users can only withdraw less than 2BTC/day and withdraw $300 in fiat.
Intermediate Level Verification (level 2), aka identity verification (ID), requires users to upload a photo of their ID or passport or a picture of their driver’s license and a portrait or mirror scan user’s face. After intermediate level (ID) verification, users can increase the transaction level to $50,000/day, $500,000/month, and withdraw up to 100BTC/day.
Advanced Verification (Plus) requires users to upload proof of address verification. It is the highest verification level of the Binance account. Completing advanced level verification (verification of address), users can trade $200,000/day and $2,000,000/month.
How to do Address Verification (Advanced Level) Binance?

A screen will appear to verify your account. If you haven’t verified Binance Basic and Intermediate, users need to fulfill the requirements to complete these verification steps. After completing the first two verification steps, the user is directed to the address verification page if the ID verification has been completed before. Click on account management and select [Identification] to verify the address.
In the [Verified Plus] section, select [Verify Now]
Select the country, fill in the address information, Postal Code, city matching the information printed on the proof of address document used to upload in the next step. Then select [Continue].
Click [Upload File] to upload a photo of the proof of address, and then press [Continue].
Once done, if the proof is valid, the confirmed account completes the address verification in 10 days. Usually, Binance can moderate customer documents faster. However, after ten days, the user rechecks the verification errors to correct them if it has not been verified.
Invalid address verification document error
Acceptable documents include:
- Bank statement, utility bill (electricity, water, gas, internet…), tax declaration sheet, …
- These documents are valid for three months.
- The snapshot of the Binance address verification document must be in PDF, JPEG, JPG, PNG format and the file size is less than 5MB.
- The name and address of the Binance user must match the name printed on the document.
Error loading verification document failed
Users need to complete the verification steps within 15 minutes. If this time is exceeded, the Binance verification fails, or the account verification page does not work. Therefore, users need to prepare all the documents used to verify their Binance account before doing so.
In addition, make sure that the photo of the address verification document is clear, taken vertically from the top, and has all four corners. If the picture does not meet the above conditions, it will usually be rejected by Binance’s review department.
Address verification not working due to incomplete address
The address provided by the user must be complete with zip code, house number, and any other identifying information in the address verification document. If incomplete or incorrect information is provided as a verification document, the address verification application will be rejected by Binance’s review department.

When Binance address verification fails, users should contact Binance support as soon as possible. How to contact Binance customer support:

In the Binance Support page, select Log in / Identification, then select [Residential address verification failed].
Read the Binance instructions carefully to identify possible problems. If your issue is still not resolved, chat with customer support below. The content clearly states the email, phone number of account registration, the problem you have, and attach a screenshot / or video showing the status of your account.
Note, Binance does not support customers directly via email and hotline. Therefore, users need to be wary if someone claiming to be a Binance employee contacts them for support outside official channels. That could be a scam.
