To improve the trading experience, eToro provides its clients several useful tools such as ProCharts, enabling them to view multiple charts simultaneously on one screen.
In its essence, ProCharts is a comparative tool for technical analysis. It enables traders to view several instruments simultaneously or the same instrument with various parameters (such as different timeframes), providing traders a comprehensive picture for analysis.
So, how to make the best use of this tool? Let’s find out in this guide below.
1 After logging in eToro account, open the asset chart you want to compare. Click on the settings wheel in the top right corner of the screen. Select “Launch ProCharts.”
2 The most significant addition this toolset brings is the use of multi-charts, meaning you can customize your chart display using various layouts for presenting several charts at once. Select any of the available layouts that you want.
3 Once you have set up a layout, each chart behaves like the standard chart, and you can use it as you like – change time frames, add technical analysis studies, or compare it to other markets or investors.
To add or change a chart, select it and search for another symbol or username.
Charts of different instruments will appear on one screen like this.
4 If you want to view the same market with different time frames, tick the “One Symbol for All Charts” box under the layout icon, and the selected chart’s instrument will be assigned to all charts.
5 No matter where you launched ProCharts from, you can always load the most recently used layout, including the symbols, investors, drawings, or studies you had on your workspace. If you want to save a specific layout so you can use it again, click on “Save layout,” name it, and it will be ready for you until you delete it.
